A Salado cliff dwelling dating to about the late 1200's.

This site is monitored by the park service and has had a lot of reconstruction.

A park Ranger is at the ruin and guides you.

There is an upper ruin which has not been completely excavated, you can visit it

only on a guided tour Fri- Mon.

I do not usually visit sites of this nature, but this site was just off the road

I was traveling and I need a break. I have been working a job in Southeastern

Arizona and try to take a hike coming and going each trip.
